InfiniBand

The InfiniBand section under Inventory enables cloud providers to register and manage their InfiniBand network components, which are used to provide high-speed, low-latency networking across GPU servers in the data center. This view allows administrators to add management credentials for InfiniBand switches, enabling secure integration with provisioning workflows and ensuring accurate tracking of infrastructure used in GPU workloads.

⚠️ Important
The InfiniBand credentials must be configured by cloud provider administrators. These credentials are used by the system to access and update switch configurations as part of the provisioning process. End users do not interact with this interface.

Adding InfiniBand Credentials

To register an InfiniBand device, provide the following fields:

Field	Description	Example
Mgmt IP	Management IP address of the switch	192.168.100.10
Username	Admin username with switch access	admin
Password	Password for the admin user	********

Click Add Credentials to register the device.

PKEYs Tab

The PKEYs tab is used to manage Partition Keys (PKEYs), which define isolated virtual fabrics within an InfiniBand network. This is critical for maintaining tenant isolation and traffic segmentation across compute environments.

Note: - Managing PKEYs may require coordination with the network admin responsible for InfiniBand fabric configuration - Use the Org ID filter in the PKEYs tab to view partition keys specific to an organization
